GAPS Nutritional Protocol

GAPS Nutritional Protocol has been first described in 2004 in Dr N Campbell-McBride’s book Gut And Psychology Syndrome. Since then GAPS has become a global phenomenon. People all over the world follow the GAPS Nutritional Protocol to heal their children and themselves from a long list of chronic health problems, physical and mental. The first GAPS book (Gut And Psychology Syndrome) has been translated into 23 languages and more translations are on the way. You will find the full list of translations here. The second GAPS book (Gut And Physiology Syndrome) came out in 2020 and completed the GAPS concept.

What does this protocol involve?

1. GAPS Diet. GAPS conditions originate in the digestive system. This system is a long tube; what you fill that tube with has a direct effect on its well-being. That is why the diet is the most important and the number one treatment.

A human body has an incredible ability to heal itself, given the right help! If a tree gets ill, before attending to its leaves and branches, we must attend to its roots first. The roots of our health are in our digestive system, so that is where we must start to allow the body to heal all its ‘branches and leaves’.
